this is a product whose layout goes over looked. Soda cans are also based on a grid. A grid is used to arrange spaces with content. I believe that the construction of a can is a vertical grid (column). This is to make sure that all the content line up with the same space in between. It is also to allocation enough space so that the text will not appear to be within the same text. For example, individual paragraphs instead of one giant paragraph. This also allows the creator to create different sides of the can. This way you do not have to keep turning the can to read it.
