This logo definitely displays the Gestalt principle because in this graphic, a few lines and a circle immediately direct our minds to the snowy peaks of Anchorage. If you notice, there are five lines, and they lead into music note staff lines (the lines that you would write music on). I think this logo is extremely creative, visually simple, and effective. I personally would have used a more modern-looking serif for the typeface, however.
